The upcoming GreenPois0n RC5 will be sporting two new features, one is verbose boot and another is custom boot logos. With verbose boot you can see the boot up process instead of just a pretty logo. A custom boot logo is what shows when you boot up the device (by default, it is a white Apple logo). Similarly, the custom recovery logo is the “Connect to iTunes” graphic that you see in Recovery Mode. At least the latest tweet from pod2g suggests so! Check out the video after the break.
This news is in accordance with the tipster to ifans;
A tipster, who goes by the name of Slurpeeking, has contacted me, stating that we would soon see verbose boot and custom boot logos (imagine an image on your device as it boots up) in the upcoming Greenpois0n release.
There is no updates on this from pod2g and p0sixninja, who are working on GreenPois0n, but when asked by pod2g about the verbose boot, in the exploit he denied to provide clues regarding it.Pod2g had earlier today also confirmed that GreenPois0n will support all devices.
Watch out the verbose boot in action on an older firmware from the video embedded below:
