New Report Says, iPhone 5’s Connector Dock Features Only 8 Pins

Recently, a new dispute has been raised about iPhone 5’s new connector dock. Earlier reports said that Apple’s iPhone 5 connector dock will have 19 pins or probably 16 pins instead of 30 pins. But, a new report claims that the new connector dock will be smaller than anticipated. The iLounge blog has reported on Wednesday that Apple’s new connector dock would feature only 8 pins.

Jeremy Horowitz, editor of iLounge, said that he kept away this type of reports until he got confirmation from inside sources. He added, “Since the [8-pin-connector dock report] directly conflicts with rumors that have made the rounds for months, we waited to publish it until we had additional confirmation, which we received this morning.”

Till now, no images of a 8-pin connector dock have been leaked out. No one has any idea, how ‘big’ it would be. Though the size of its length is not important to iPhone users, but it is most important to the companies who build accessories for the iPhone.
