Dell has launched another business laptop in Latitude series – Latitude E6430. The new Ivy Bridge based laptop promises to last more than 30 hours when combined with extra battery packs. This is by far the largest battery life claim made by a Windows based laptop maker. Prior to that, Lenovo claimed to offer 23 hours of battery life in ThinkPad X220 with a slice battery. The new Dell Latitude E6430 ATG has broken ThinkPad X220’s record. The new Latitude is durable and semi-rugged for outdoor productivity.
Dell Latitude E6430 comes with Intel Core i7 processor, Genuine Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) also support Ubuntu Linux 11.10, up to 8GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1600Mhz memory, Intel HD or NVIDIA discrete graphics, 14” HD (1366×768) display, 4- and 6-cell ExpressCharge battery, optional HSPA-EVDO / LTE / Gobi 3000/WIMAX connectivity. It also has RJ-45 network connector, two USB 2.0, one USB/eSATA combo and two USB 3.0 port.
