While Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is a big platform for tech industries to showcase their products and technologies, mobile phone maker Nokia was practically invisible at CES 2013. But Nokia has hinted that it will appear with a bang in the scene later this year.
Nokia executive VP of sales and marketing Chris Weber has shared the company’s plan to differentiate its phones in 2013. Nokia will use larger memory storage and higher-end lenses in the cameras of upcoming phones.
That’s not all. Weber has hinted that Nokia’s upcoming phones may get PureView technology, that was first found in the Nokia Lumia 808 and later in the Nokia Lumia 920. In addition, the upcoming phones will undoubtedly come with Nokia’s cherry-on-top photo apps, like Photo Beamer and a Panorama Filter.
According to Weber, Nokia plans to introduce new handsets globally that will “push the price point.” The new phones with amazing and attractive features will “surprise” Nokia fans this year. But do you really think those upcoming smartphones will be cheap while the fancy camera lenses and larger memory storage costs are high? Share your opinion.
