Samsung announced its Galaxy S4 in New York City on 14 March 2013. The S4 reached 10 million pre-orders in the first two weeks after its announcement. Now, a new rumor says that a rugged version Galaxy S4 might be on the way. This rugged version would be waterproof and dust proof.
The rumor started when Young Soo Kim, President of Samsung’s operation in the Gulf, mentioned the possibility of such a device at a press event. However, it may all have been a mix-up due to translation and other confusion. But we think as Samsung is on its way to bring Galaxy S4, it won’t release a new rugged smartphone too soon.
