Samsung Galaxy S III Will Arrive On 5 US Carriers This Month

Users in US have been eagerly waiting for the launch of Samsung’s flagship smartphone, Galaxy S III. The device has been launched in a number of European countries and the user feedback has been fairly good. Naturally, the anticipation surrounding the launch of the device in the largest smartphone market of the world, U.S., was huge. It now seems that this anticipation is about to be redeemed.

And rather than rumor and mere speculation, this bit of news is official, directly from Samsung. According to the company, the wait of the US users is finally going to be over. Galaxy S III will be launching on AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Spring and US Cellular.

The good bit of news for US users is that the price of the device, offered with these carriers, is quite low, even lower than was expected. It will be available for a mere $199. All the five carriers will carry the same 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display version.

The device comes with a number of awesome features which are sure to steal away the hearts of many. It packs some new and unique features such as S Voice, S Beam and Smart Stay and will arrive with the latest Android release, Android 4.0. On top of Android 4 will run Samsung’s very own skin which will contain a lot of new features.

The device will be available in both of its looks, the Marble White and Pebble Blue. According to the president of Samsung Telecommunications America, “The U.S. launch of the Galaxy S III is the most anticipated launch of the year. As promised, we are delivering the ‘next big thing’ for U.S. customers and across all major carriers. Galaxy S III introduces new technological innovation and takes sharing to the next level.”

AT&T has already launched a page in anticipation of the device in US. You can check the page out here.
