We came to know via leaked image that this year’s first BlackBerry 10 smartphone will be BlackBerry Z10. Later a video showed that BlackBerry Z10 smartphone will have Instagram-like photo filters. Recently, Austrian website Telekom Presse has uploaded another video comparing Research in Motion’s (RIM) BlackBerry Z10 smartphone to the iPhone 5, both in terms of physical design and software.
The BlackBerry Z10 smartphone is said to be equipped with a 4.2-inch HD display with 1280 x 768 pixel resolution (that means pixel density of Z10 is 355ppi, whereas iPhone 5 at 326 ppi), 16GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2GB RAM, NFC, 4G LTE, microSIM, microSD, and an 1,800 mAh battery. But the video published by Telekom-Presse says that 4.2-inch BlackBerry Z10 smartphone will be slightly larger and 12 gram heavier than the iPhone 5. Unfortunately, the audio of Telekom-Presse’s video is not in English, but there are subtitles. Here’s the video.
As RIM’s upcoming BlackBerry event is going to held on January 30, so at then we’ll be able to know, whether BlackBerry Z10 is really larger and heavier than iPhone 5 or not. However, rumor swirling the price of BlackBerry Z10 will be below $199.
