HP TouchPad Go Leaks In New Photos

ThisIsMyNext released photos of the HP TouchPad Go, a 7-inch tablet that was weeks away from birth before HP scrapped the project along with the rest of its webOS hardware ambitions and the images epict the tablet in its blurry, bizarre, 4:3 aspect ratio glory. It has been reported that HP’s last batch of full size TouchPad tablets, which will consist of up to 200,000 units and there’s also a screenshot of an engineer’s menu which show the specifications of the device……………….

The seven-inch TouchPad Go was reportedly just weeks away from shipping before HP suddenly decided to kill off webOS hardware entirely and it appears a few units made it out into the wild, these photos  popped up on a Chinese forum last night from a poster who claims he’s had one for three months. Everything matches up exactly with the FCC entry that hit last month and what we’ve heard and seen of the Opal in the past, so it definitely seems legit. Poster claims it’s the same 1024 x 768 resolution as the larger TouchPad, which we’ve definitely heard before as well. The similarities to the larger model continue internally with the same 1.5GHz APQ8060 Snapdragon processor, 16GB of storage, and a front camera, but it also has a rear camera and what sounds like an NFC module, which is interesting.
