Facebook has rolled out a new update for its iOS app. The new update brings two key features to the app, namely the ability to record videos and send voice messages.
While those two features are the highlight of the update, Facebook has also added a few other features to the iOS app. Below is a quick recap of the new features as well as those already available in the app.

- Record a video right from within your app and then share it on Facebook.
- Keep track of your favorite places with the help of the new ‘Nearby’ tab.
The features that were a part of the app before this update include –

- See updates from friends, play social games and get direct notifications.
The new features that the social network has added to the app certainly enhances its usefulness. Moreover, they are very well suited to the mobile platform, so bringing them to the iOS users is doing the right thing.
