Japanese Dentist Designs Self-Stirring Whirlpool Pot

While we cook something, most of the time time we have to stir. To some people, stirring is a monotonous work. Based on that tedium work, a Japanese dentist Hideki Watanabe has invented a sculpted pot named Kuru-Kuru Nabe (Round and Round Pot) that will automatically stir its contents as they heat up. Seems like, this sculpted pot is specially made for the the world’s laziest chefs.

The idea of making the Kuru-Kuru Nabe came into Hideki Watanabe’s mind, who is a dentist in the city of Iyo in southwestern Japan, while he was experimenting with dental plaster at his practice. The pot relies on basic thermodynamics to create a whirlpool motion as water in the pot begins to heat up. The pot has spirals etched in its inner sides which lets the pot direct the flow of liquid into a circular direction. This makes the content dissolve in the water without stir. Through this way the speed of heating increased.

At present, it’s not going to work for thick recipes but this pot is perfect for making soups in a very short time. In order to purchase this pot, we have to wait a little more until it’s being commercialize.
