LG Shows Off Flexible Plastic E-Paper Due To Be Released In Europe Next Month

We have been hearing about flexible, malleable e-papers but this may just be the first that we have been able to set our sights on. LG has unveiled a plastic e-paper than can be bent at an angle of up to 40 degrees and has a fairly good resolution of 1024 x 768. It comes with the added benefit of being thinner, and a lot more lighter, than other e-books on the market.

Sony unveils flexible color e-paper, new glasses-free 3D LCD displays at SID 2011 and this e-paper has a thickness of 150m and a weight of 20g or less by using a plastic substrate.
