Apple Starts Putting Up WWDC 2012 Banners In Moscone West

Apple’s WorldWide Developers Conference is due to start on June 11 this year. And in anticipation for the grand event where Apple is expected to unveil a whole lot of things including iOS 6 and potentially a refresh for MacBook Pro lineup, Apple has started decorating the venue.

It is not something new. Apple has a knack of decorating its event venues well ahead of time. Last year too, although the conference was scheduled to start on June 6, Apple started decorations four days ahead on June 2, also unveiling the famous logo of iCloud in doing so.

This year too, the decorations at Moscone West have already kick-started. However, for now, only one huge banner has been put in place. The banner seems to be focusing on third-party apps and right under a bold WWDC 2012 is a tagline ‘Where great ideas go on to do great things.’

The banner contains icon for a number of third-party apps and games. Among the icons are those for Twitter, Instagram, Path, TED, Facebook, CNN, Evernote and many more. The world has been quick to spot the first banner that was put up by Apple at the site for WWDC 2012 and the images for the banner are now doing round around the web.
