ET3 To Test Super Fast 3-Mile Hyperloop Transport System This Year

Earlier we reported that there is plan to build a futuristic high-speed tube train that could take us from New York (NY) to Los Angeles (LA) in 45 minutes. Well, that is no longer to remain a dream. Colorado-based company Evacuated Tube Transport Technologies (ET3) is really going to build a 3-mile hyperloop transport system!

Hyperloop Transport System

Hyperloop transportation will be a super fast tubular transport system with the ability to theoretically send someone or something from NY to LA in 30 minutes. Six persons will be able to be fit inside each vacuum tubes. It will be able to travel up to a speed of 4,000 miles per hour.

However, the test run of three-mile-long hyperloop transportation system will be started by the end of 2013. For now, ET3 has released a video detailing its Evacuated Tube Transport system and how it will work, which you can watch below.

Goodyear dismantled L.A.’s public transportation system just in order to sell more tires.

I wonder what established players will get in the way of this, to avoid loosing their all important profits…
