HTC has been rolling out some of the finest smartphones. However, the company has still been struggling due to the fierce competition put forth by Samsung and Apple both of which seems to be leading from the front. A recent leak has detailed out some of the features of this highly-anticipated device which include a new user interface, a new mail app and awesome integration with Dropbox, giving you 50 GB of free storage. HTC Sense 4.0 will come with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, as per the leaks. This definitely adds a huge functional advantage to the device since ICS is the latest Android OS and the most user-friendly too. Moreover, the device will also feature a Safari browser with Reader-like functions. The Dropbox storage is definitely drool-worthy since 50 GB of free cloud storage is an awesome incentive.
The device comes with universal Beats audio. An important leak is that HTC Sense 4.0 will have no on-screen buttons, like the ones often found on most Android smartphones. This also leads to the logical conclusion that the device will feature some external buttons through which users can navigate. This may both be a turn-on and put-off for users, depending how users view the lack of on-screen buttons. While the lack of them may make the screen appear larger, less cluttered, their presence eases user navigation greatly. Finally, HTC has retained the traditional three-dimensional task switcher.
Once the device launches, we are sure it will surely attract a large mass of users as well as critics and reviewers. Whether or not it hits a chord with them is another story though.
