Creative Unveils Airwave NFC Wireless Speakers

Creative has introduced two new generation of wireless speakers – Airwave HD and Airwave portable. Both the speakers are Bluetooth and NFC supported. Those who have any NFC supported device can now pair to the Creative Airwave by simply tapping the device against the speaker. And those who do not have NFC supported device can connect via Bluetooth manually.

The Creative Airwave HD is powered by its built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery which provides up to 7 hours of audio playback. And the Creative Airwave portable speaker is powered by its built-in rechargeable Li-Polymer battery which provides up to 12 hours of audio playback. Both feature micro-USB charging. You can charge your speaker with any regular smart device charger, standard micro-USB connection to a PC or even an external battery pack. The Creative Airwave HD is available in black and red, and the Creative Airwave is available in blue, grey, pink and green.

Along with this speakers, Creative also introduced in-line microphones on every product in the Hitz lineup, specially for the mobile users. The colorful new Creative Hitz headsets features an in-line microphone for calls, and a fresh, modern, triangular design that has been taken from many of the products in Creative’s new lineup. For now there is no available information regarding U.S. release. But the Airwave and Airwave HD will be available in Singapore in June for SG$129 (US$103) and SG$199 (US$160), respectively. And the Hitz line is expected to launch in July, with prices ranging from SG$49 (US$39) to SG$89 (US$72).
