Logitech has added a new product, called Harmony Touch, to its award-winning line of Harmony universal remotes. The Harmony Touch is a universal remote with a built-in 2.4-inch touchscreen. This advanced universal remote will add a new dimension to your living room experience.
The Harmony Touch is the successor of Harmony One. Users can add, remove and re-order up to 50 favorite channel icons by using its 2.4-inch color touch-screen. Like current smartphone or tablet remote apps, users can slide the touchscreen, tap the screen for play/pause and remove the hassle of memorizing channel numbers.
The Logitech Harmony Touch supports at least 225,000 home-entertainment devices from more than 5,000 different brands. This universal remote can also control at least 15 different devices. After the online installation, Harmony Touch will automatically manage TV channels.
Joerg Tewes, vice president of Logitech’s digital home business group said, “The Logitech Harmony Touch represents the next evolution for the universal remote.” He also said, “Today, people prize convenience and want home-entertainment systems that are impressive and easy to use. With this in mind, Logitech designed a remote that makes it simple for people to customize their experience, and feel in control of their systems like never before.”
Logitech Harmony Touch will be available in the U.S. and Europe this month. The Harmony Touch can be pre-ordered from BestBuy at $249.99.
