Olympus brings its Stylus 1 camera for the semi-pro photographers. The camera comes with new 1.44 million dot EVF and has more features like DSLR camera.
The camera features 12-megapixel sensor as the Stylus XZ-2, It comes with the fast touch AF system from the Olympus PEN ILC series. The f2.8 fixed aperture i.ZUIKO lens has a focal length of 28-300mm (35mm equivalent), 10.7 x zoom capability – and the superb optical quality of ZUIKO digital lenses. The camera also comes with 3-inch, 1.04 million dot tiltable touchscreen viewer, a hybrid control ring for functions like focus or shutter speed.
There is also options for camera’s lens switching between digital and analog mode operation using a control ring. The camera also offers 1080p recording and stereo sound. It is also able to capture high-speed video at 120fps and 240fps, allowing for slick slow-motion video playback. The Stylus 1 also packs built-in Wi-Fi, that allows users to connect via Wi-Fi for rapid photo-sharing with a smartphone app.
Olympus is directly selling its Stylus 1 compact camera for $699.99 on its website, and it expected to be available in December.
