Apple released a minor update to its iBooks e-book and PDF reading app for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. iBooks 1.2.2 includes “important stability and performance improvements” that should make the app more responsive as well as fix a series of issues reported by users in the previous versions of the app.
It also fixes issue with videos being played from enhanced books purchased from the iBookstore. With iBooks 1.2.2, the issue where some books were opening in a different font will also get fixed. Responsiveness to books which have several items in the table of content would be more responsive.
