App Description:
Ottawa, Canada – Can an iPhone App help ease the bed time routine for children and parents? Anystone believes Tuto’s Nite Light is the children’s sleep promoter App that can. The App provides troubled toddlers with the warm comforting light of a night sky to soothe fears of the dark. Children grow weary watching an adorable sleep buddy’s eye lids get heavier and heavier as the night sky fades to black.

This simple App features a sleepy owl named Tuto who is perched on a branch against a starry night sky. Choose the night sky colour and set the timer. Tuto’s eyes slowly close as the night sky fades to black ushering young and old to dreamland.

The first release received praise on the iTunes App Store for it’s adorable simplicity: “A truly inspired gem!” – by FosterParentGuy – “This cute little app is a great find for parents with kids afraid of the dark! Even I get sleepy just watching the owl’s eyes grow heavy 🙂 Love the fading sky too; nice touch.”

The latest version of Tuto’s Nite Light includes these additional features:
* Two new sleepy forest friends
* A simple counting game
* Animal sound effects
* Ability to pause and resume the sleep timer

Selecting the cow on the moon moves the scene into orbit. Touch the moon and learn to count as the cow jumps over the moon with a “moo”. A nice addition to the bed time routine.

“As the days get shorter in the northern parts of the world, young children are being put to bed in the dark. My own 4-year-old’s fear of the dark provided the impetus behind the creation of Tuto’s Nite Light. I thought it would be a great use for my old iPhone 3G. By providing both light and a cute character falling asleep, it helps to calm my son at bedtime.” relates Anystone CTO, Sean Kormilo.

Busy parents can get a break too. With their phone in airplane mode, and docked or on a stand by their child’s bed; there are no calls while the little one is coaxed to sleep. A great use for retired 3G iPhones!

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
* Requires iOS 3.2 or later
* iPhone 4 retina display
* Landscape and portrait modes
* 4.8 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Tuto’s Nite Light 1.2 is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Healthcare & Fitness category. An Android version is coming soon.
