HTC has been readying a number of new devices, some of which are rumored to hit the shelves this month. The company has recently sent out invites for an event in collaboration with Verizon to be held on November 13. It may well be the occasion to unveil one or more HTC devices.
The event is scheduled to be held in New York at 11 a.m. on the given date. Given the fact that Verizon is on board for the event, it is quite obvious that this is going to be about the announcement of a new smartphone from HTC.
However, the big question is, which smartphone is it going to be? As it is, HTC is expected to unveil at least two of its upcoming devices soon. One of them is the HTC Droid DNA, a 5-inch smartphone which may be pitted against Samsung’s Galaxy S III.
The other device is the HTC 8X, which is a sleek Windows Phone. The company’s Windows Phone portfolio hasn’t been too impressive until now and it may be planning to ramp up on that front.
Either way, we will know on November 13 what is it that HTC has up its sleeve. Stay tuned for more details as we inch towards the event.
