It took a year for the South Korean phone maker to expand the popular Star series. After the success of the two models in this series, Star and Star 2, considered as best selling Samsung products, by the end of this month two more versions will hit the market, Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS. The company announced that its fans from Russia will be the first to get their hands on the new Samsung phones, followed by the customers from CIS, Europe, Latin America, Africa, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The Star 3 DUOS will also be available in Southwest Asia.
The Samsung Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS come with improvements meant to appeal to social network users and also with multimedia enhancements. All packed under a sleek, modern appearance 11.5mm thin. The two newly unveiled Samsung phones feature a minimalist design with metallic frame around the edges and provide an ergonomic grip.
JK Shin, President of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics announced the release as targeting the budget conscious users who still deserve the quality phone experience. “We are pleased to launch the Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS, a further enhanced version of the bestselling Samsung Star series. With the new Star 3 touch phones, Samsung continues to offer the best social networking experiences and opportunities for our feature phone users,” explained JK Shin in a press release.
