In 2011, the trio – HTC, Facebook and AT&T – rolled out first Facebook phone – HTC Status/ChaCha. Seems like, we are going to see a new Facebook phone named HTC Myst from the trio. The specifications of the upcoming Facebook phone has already been leaked. Details inside.
Unwired View has reported that social giant Facebook, mobile phone maker HTC and mobile phone carrier AT&T have joined together to bring a new smartphone currently dubbed the HTC Myst. According to Unwired View, the upcoming HTC Myst will run on 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and feature 1.5GHz, dual-core MSM8960 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4.3-inch 720p HD display with 320 ppi pixel density.
Besides, the phone will also feature 16GB of storage with no microSD expansion, 5MP rear camera, 1.6MP front facing camera, LTE and HSPA. But it is unknown whether or not the rear camera will employ an Ultrapixel sensor. On the other side, it is being speculated that this phone may come with some pre-installed Facebook apps like Facebook Messenger and Instagram.
There is no mention about the pricing or its availability. But it is expected that HTC Myst will arrive on store shelves in coming spring.
