Sony has announced that the new Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update is ready for Sony Tablet – both Tablet P and Tablet S. Android 4.0 is now available for Sony Tablet S in the US only. Sony has confirmed through Twitter that the Android 4.0 update for Sony Tablet S will be released for all regions by end of May. An android 4.0update for Sony Tablet P will also hit the market at the same time.
According to the Sony Japan, the Android 4.0 update will be available from May 24 for both Tablet S and Tablet P devices. Owners of Sony Tablet(s) would receive the update upon connecting to internet through their tablet’s Wi-Fi adpater. The Android update would be available for free of charge from Sony.
