Best Buy has teased its Insignia Flex tablet in Facebook on Friday. This a 9.7-inch tablet runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Best Buy has not mentioned the price of the device, but speculations were that the tablet will be sold for $150-$250. An insider, however, revealed that the tablet will be sold for $239-$259.
According to the announcement that has been published on Insignia’s Facebook page, the Flex tablet is equipped with a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 9.7 inch display and a microSD slot. Its battery is able to run continuously for 10 hours. It has a camera also, and weighs about 1.45 pounds.
The Flex will be exclusively available in Best Buy from November 11. Although, the speculated price is higher than the wildly popular Google Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire, it can still compete with high-priced tablets like iPad od Galaxy Tab 2.
