Nexus 7 LTE To Release In Japan And Europe In Mid-September

We knew that a LTE version of new Google Nexus 7 tablet will be released for sure, but when, the date was not confirmed. However now the date of releasing new Google Nexus 7 LTE version tablet has been confirmed. According to the comments from Google at Japanese site Ascii.jp, the LTE model will be available in Japan and Europe in the mid-September.

Nexus 7 LTE

Currently Google has only the Wi-Fi version Google Nexus 7 tablet. So people have been expecting the LTE version long time. However, lately UK telecom operator O2 has mentioned that it expects to have the Nexus 7 LTE (4G) available on September 13 with a price tag of £319.99 (around US$500). Of course US$500 price is much higher than our expectation as Google had said earlier that the U.S. pricing for theLTE compatible Nexus 7 would be $349.

However, O2 has started taking pre-order for the LTE compatible Nexus 7 tablet from August 29. The company is offering a free premium case (worth £29.99) for those who would pre-order the tablet.

Aside from the 4G LTE model, O2 has also said the WiFi only model would be available soon, and the company will only have the 32 GB Nexus 7 model available at beginning.
