CES 2013 ended few days ago. Now we are waiting for this year’s Mobile World Congress trade show which is going to be held in Barcelona, Spain, next month. Many companies are preparing to unveil new products at that trade show. Recently, Samsung mobile division head JK Shin has confirmed that the company will unveil a smaller version of its Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet at the MWC 2013, with an 8-inch screen.
Though Samsung mobile head JK Shin has shared no information regarding 8-inch Galaxy Note tablet’s specs, rumors say that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will come in two flavors. One edition will feature 3G and Wi-Fi, and the other will be Wi-Fi only. Both editions will weigh 330 gram and measure 211.3 mm x 136.3 mm x 7.95 mm. The tablets will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and have quad-core 1.6GHz Exynos 4412 processor, 1280 x 800 TFT display, 2GB RAM, storage options of 16GB (for Wi-Fi model only) and 32GB (for 3G and Wi-Fi model), 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, microSD slot, 4600mAh battery, Wi-Fi and HSPA+ (21Mbps) connectivity. Added to these, both model’s design will be similar to Galaxy Tab and will also support the company’s unique S-Pen stylus.
As JK Shin has shared nothing but the screen size for now, so we’ll just have to wait until MWC 2013 for Samsung to unveil the product.
