We have already seen a lot of 7-inch, 8-inch, 9-inch and 10-inch tablets from different manufactures. This time things are changing, because Samsung is planning to introduce a 12-inch or larger tablet in the market. According to the Korea Economic Daily, Samsung will try to change the trend toward small tablets with a 12-incher.
The report adds, according to industry sources, Samsung Electronics is still “engaged in development” of the device. And, it is rumored to have a 12-inch screen. The largest screen size on a Samsung tablet to date is 11.6 inches. The report also speculated that the display may come with the same resolution of Google’s Nexus 10, which features 2560×1600 pixel resolution, also manufactured by Samsung.
The new 12-inch tablet from Samsung is expected to come out in October. Which means IFA could be the platform for Samsung to unveil the tablet.
