Changes In DownThemall Version 2.0 :
- Weighted average download speed calculation: The more recently calculated speed statistics count more towards the “average” speed.
- Better context menu integration, showing all available options (link, image, video, audio)
- Fully multi-threaded pre-allocator and file verification, less hangs with large files
(Firefox 4 has threads disabled at the moment, regular threads were disabled from regular add-ons) - Real window menu on the mac making it easier to switch between windows or open new tabs
- DownThemAll! will now sent primary icons even though third-party cookies are disabled in the browser configuration. So users of services that require cookies to authenticate downloads (like e.g. rapidshare/hotfile premium) won’t have to turn third party cookies on in the browser anymore.
(Cookies as send by DownThemAll! are not third-party cookies. The previous behavior was an incorrect limitation/bug) - Some different defaults for various preferences: Auto-Retries: Now enabled by default to make up to 5 auto-retries waiting 5 minutes between each try
- Concurrent Downloads: Changed from 4 to 8 concurrent downloads. However there is still a limit of 4 concurrent downloads per server
