Tribute Paid To Steve Jobs In Pixar’s Film ‘Brave’

Steve Jobs has been an icon and an inspiration for a lot of people. While he has been criticized often too, Jobs undoubtedly was a living embodiment of a man who struggled and began from nothing, eventually becoming one of the most important people in the world. Jobs was the co-founder of Pixar studios too, a company he founded after he initially left Apple. Now Pixar has decided to present a tribute to its mentor.

Jobs was definitely extraordinary when it came to creative ideas. And that is how he shaped Pixar, producing some of the most excellent animation movies. So in more than one ways, Jobs was the mentor and inspiration at Pixar, besides having served as CEO at the company.

Pixar’s movie ‘Brave’ is expected to arrive on June 22. The movie is about a girl in Scotland who ventures out, trying to find her place in the world. In the movie, it is shown that certain ghostly creatures, named will-o’-the-wisps lead people to their respective destinies. In some way, even the story bears resemblance to that of Jobs.

At the end of the movie, when showing credits, a will-o’-the-wisps flits around Steve Jobs’ name. The movie is dedicated to him and it is being said that Jobs overlook the movie and provided feedback over an early cut of the movie. Naturally, Pixas owes a lot to Jobs and this make for a befitting tribute to the great man.
