Sprint Sues For Block Proposed AT&T And T-Mobile Transaction

Sprint announced that it has filed a lawsuit with a federal court in the U.S. District of Columbia in an effort to block AT&T’s planned $39 billion acquisition of T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom and Sprint also said that the deal would also give AT&T and T-Mobile an unfair advantage over Sprint and other independent carriers. The lawsuits were filed in response to a Bursor & Fisher law firm signing up over 1,000 customers looking to block the deal using the arbitration clause in the customer contract and this isn’t the first time the carrier has let the world know that it’s not particularly pumped about the whole proposal……………

AT&T may be in the news recently for controversy surrounding its impending acquisition of T-Mobile, but the company revealed that its first LTE/HSPA+ devices would be hitting store shelves next week and the The USBConnect Momentum 4G is a USB dongle that users can plug into a free port to access AT&T’s burgeoning LTE network. Users of the USBConnect Adrenaline will be able to download a firmware update on August 26th that turns on its dormant LTE radio and the carrier also officially announced that its DataConnect plans will be offered for $50 per month for 5GB with usage charges of $10 for each additional GB……………

AT&T Installing 4G LTE In Apple Stores

A new photo claims to show high-speed LTE 4G equipment from AT&T being installed at a major Apple retail store, which increasing speculation that Apple could launch a 4G device in the near future and the spy shot of alleged 4G equipment was sent to Engadget by an anonymous source. AT&T To Revoke Unlimited Data Plans From Hotspot Jailbreakers

AT&T has been sending out warnings to customers about unauthorized tethering, threatening to revoke unlimited data plans for those in violation and AT&T is adding the tethering plan to the current data plan (including grandfathered unlimited data plan) without their consent. Also AT&T had started offering the official tethering plans for $20 per month in June 2010 and jailbreak apps like MyWi also allows users to convert their iPhone into a wireless router just like the personal hotspot feature in iOS 4.3 released in April…………..
