TV Providers Coming To Xbox 360

Microsoft announced that a slew of TV and entertainment content providers — including Bravo, Comcast, HBO GO, Verizon FiOS and Syfy will be rolling out entertainment services to the Xbox starting this holiday season in the more than 20 coutnries and they’ll be providing content through Xbox Live, the online entertainment service for Xbox 360. The providers are: BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and LOVEFiLM in the U.K.; Antena 3, RTVE and Telefonica in Spain; Televisa in Mexico; and Bravo, Comcast’s Xfinity On Demand service, Crackle, EPIX, Syfy, TMZ, The Today Show, UFC, Verizon FiOS and HBO GO in the United States, the new TV and video providers announced today join Xbox’s existing lineup of TV and video entertainment partners already on Xbox 360: AT&T, Netflix and Hulu+ in the U.S., TELUS in Canada, BSkyB in the U.K., Canal+ in France, Vodafone Portugal, VimpelCom in Russia and FOXTEL in Australia.This is exciting news because now your 360 is like a cable box as well, so if you already have service with one of the providers that is teaming up with them then you can enjoy tons of television right from your dashboard…………….

Sprint To Buy $20 Billion Worth Of iPhones

Wall Street Journal reports that Sprint has agreed to buy 30.5 million iPhones over the next four years from Apple for an average price of $655, which works out to $20 billion and report notes that this kinda commitments aren’t unusual for Apple’s carrier partners, demonstrating the success Apple has gained with the iPhone. Apple will indeed launch a redesigned iPhone 5, but it will be a 4G WiMAX device, which will be exclusively available on Sprint’s network, while carriers like AT&T and Verizon will get a 4G LTE iPhone in the first quarter of 2012………………..

Add Photos To Twitter Via MMS

Twitter has announced that you can now post photos to the service via MMS and this service is only available on some carriers initially, AT&T, Verizon and Cellular South in the US, Vodafone, O2 and Orange in the UK, and Rogers in Canada, plus Vodafone Italy, VIVA Bahrain and TIM Brazil, but Twitter also said hat it’s working to bring the feature to additional carriers. To share a photo through Twitter the customer just needs to send it as an MMS to the shortcode and the messages will then be taken from any MMS bundles they may have or charged at the standard MMS rate……………….
