Futuristic Ad Shows Robot Greyhounds Racing In The Desert [Video]

It would seem that the renowned novel, and then an adaptation on the big screen, Hunger Games has stirred quite a few creative minds. Or so it would seem when you see the new ad by Absolut Vodka. The ad attempts to show some robot Greyhounds racing in the desert and hunting after a metallic bunny.

Apparently, this is how the refined appetites of the elegant bourgeoisie will be satiated in a world of future with technology at its heart. In a way, the ad goes on to show what many have envisioned earlier – a civilization so refined that it would be able to fulfill its inhumane appetites by indulging the technology to that end, hence providing the illusion of being real.

In the ad, the race of Greyhounds is a pleasure for the bon vivants, standing by the sidelines. Moreover, these hounds are controlled by actual humans in a remote location through 3D interfaces. In the background is blaring music from Swedish House Mafia. Nonetheless, it is a really unique ad and worth a watch:
