Cloning Conspiracy Gets Discovered Through Facial Recognition In ‘Manifold’ Short Film

A lot of anticipation surrounding the release of Anthony Scott Burns’ ‘Manifold‘ short film. The movie is here now and plays a story which involves the use of facial recognition in a mass suicide through stunning black-and-white shots.

Manifold short film

The short film is a mere 8 minutes long and the black and white cinematography adds an excellent effect to it. The story shows a country-side sheriff investigating what appears to be a string of mass suicides.

At a long distance from these suicides is a tech whiz who is an expert of facial recognition software. He suddenly finds a picture of someone who may be related to him and reaches out to contact the person. But little does he know that he is stumbling on to a dangerous path.

It is a short sci fi flick which is yet another gem from Burns. According to Burns, the film has already been picked up to be turned into a feature which lends us hope that we will be able to watch it more elaborately in a feature-length production soon.
