Instagram For Android Update Supports Tablet, Wi-Fi, SD Card

Finally Instagram app for Android has been launched. This app will work with OpenGL ES2 supported Android versions, starting from Android 2.2. The Android version of Instagram will support tablets, WiFi handsets and SD card installs.

For those, who are not acquinted with Instagram, it is a photosharing app and you can share your photo to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Foursquare.

Instagram makers hope that the app will continue to amuse its users with some major bug fixes along with some minor ones. The major bug fixes include –

  • opened up support for Tablets and WiFi handsets
  • installation on SD card support fix, and
  • audio mute bug fix during capture

    I have an HD2 running gingerbread and this is pretty useless to me. It’s not much from anything else out there!
