If you are a woner of LG Optimus Oneand have been waiting for that long rumored Gingerbread update then we have a great news for you. Because it’s finally become a reality it appears as though your time has come.
Reports are rolling in of official Gingerbread updates rolling through for the device, the first was for the V20G version in Romania which started receiving the roll out before yesterday, and other carriers are confirming it to be coming in the next few months as well. So, fear not, you are not left behind. So it is just a matter of timing at this point so hoping for the best.

Any idea on the date when it will be available in India ?
The update for Portuguese users is nowhere in sight ->

Me: it’s already out for Romanian and Indian users I think.
Mobile Phone Support: The 2.3 android upgrade is not yet available. It
may be around September time but we have not had an official release
date. Any information regarding this will be on the LG website. Any
other software updates to the phone will also be network specific so it
will depend on your network if you can update these.

Mobile Phone Support: Unfortunately the update is not yet available. As I
have said it should be around September time we are waiting on a
release date. This is a decision made by Google who control the
firmware.
I’m from Portugal, and I’ve updated my P500 to 2.3.3 version – version V20C.
However, facebook and twitter crashes and go to “force close”.
Anyony getting this problem?
Its here update it…it has funky look…older one was good actually!!
I updated to 2.3.3 on lg optimus one p500 and now the sims 3 crashes after the sims logo… anybody knows why? Please reply
