Sony has also added some global version of Xperia models in its Jelly Bean update list. The Xperia S, Xperia Acro S, Xperia Ion, Xperia Go and Xperia J will get Android 4.1.0. The company has not mentioned the detail timing of these models, but indicates that the availability will be differed by market.

Unfortunately, Sony will not release Android 4.1.0 Jelly Bean for the 2011 Xperia smartphones. The company has announced that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is the last update for 2011 Xperia models.
