Intel’s Ivy Bridge Chips Will Debut On High-End Desktops From Acer & Gateway

Ivy Bridge is the codename of Intel 3rd generation core-i processors. Recently Acer and Gateway both have announced that their new computer (Predator and DX4860) made by the Intel 3rd generation core processors. Both computers are specially made for the professional graphic designer, hard-core gamer, and who want to spend long time with computer. The Acer Predator and Gateway DX4860 will be available at retails for $1,199.99 and $699.99, respectively.


Acer Predator

The Acer Predator is equipped with a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 3770 processor with a NVIDIA GT630 video card, a 16GB of RAM and a 2TB of storage space. Really Acer Predator configurations is amazing for a gamer and a graphic designer.

As opposed to the Gateway DX4860 will have a 3.1GHz Intel Core i5 3450 processor, 6GB of DDR3 RAM and 1TB of storage space. The Gateway FX6860 also offers the 3rd generation Intel Core processor but there is no details on pricing and other features. Both computers will be available at any time in the coming week.
