Users who are unable to obtain or upgrade to SP1 from the Internet, can now request Microsoft to ship a free Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 DVD. This service is available for users from Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America.
The SP1 DVD is free, but you will need to pay the freight charges; $5 minimum. In addition, each user can only obtain 3 copies of SP1 DVD.
Windows 7 Service Pack 1 update weighs around 500+ MB for 32-bit OS, and if you don’t want to download it from the Windows Update feature or direct links, there is another way through which you can install this essential update on your system. Well, you can officially order a free Windows 7 SP1 DVD from Microsoft’s website.
If you stay in US or Canada, you can follow the following steps to order Windows 7 SP1 physical media DVDs.

Microsoft seems to be expanding its built-in Windows 8 apps for the upcoming Release Preview. According to WinUnleaked.tk, Windows 8 Release Preview, to be released on the first week of June, will include News, Sports, and Travel Metro style apps.
