Windows 8 Release Preview To Include Metro Style News, Sports, And Travel Apps

Microsoft seems to be expanding its built-in Windows 8 apps for the upcoming Release Preview. According to WinUnleaked.tk, Windows 8 Release Preview, to be released on the first week of June, will include News, Sports, and Travel Metro style apps. The site (registration required) has already posted screenshots and information about the Release Preview build over the last few days.

According to WinUnleaked, the recent screenshots are from Windows 8 Release Preview with Media Center Build 8400.0.x86fre.winmain_win8rc.120518-1423. Last week, we came to know that there are some changes in recent internal builds of Windows 8. The build would bring some updated apps like Mail, Calendar, People, and Messaging, the Microsoft Reader, and more.

The Windows 8 Release Preview is expected to make its debut in early June. A rumor is also swirling around that the final version of Windows 8 will come toward the end of the year.
