At the annual Electronic Arts Studio Showcase EA unveiled a boat load of new games. The list that we are known is given below.
Fight Night: Champion
This game is next update to the Fight Night series boxing games. According to EA this update to the game won’t be any other typical yearly update. The game will feature 60-65 fighters and the single player mode will be completely revamped.
The game will release sometime in 2011 for PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
Kingdom of Amalur is a new RPG brought to us by 38 studios. In the game, a player travels through Amalur and unlock mysteries. Amalur is a magical world, filled with strange landscapes, exotic cities, colorful characters and terrifying creatures.
The game will be introduced for Xbox 360 and PC and PS3 in the fall of 2011.
Darkspore
Judging from the title you’ve probably already guessed it. This is a new game coming to us from Maxis, the creators of Spore and Sims franchise. EA is describing the game as a “sci-fi action-RPG”. The best way to describe this is as Spore meets Diablo.
The game will let three players travel several planets cooperatively and take down some baddies and level up your guys (ala Diablo Style). Like the original Spore game the creature creator is there, but this time you are not controlling your own creations. The customizable part of the game is where you place the various upgrades for your character (i’m presuming you are using the creature creator to add things onto your creature to make him more powerful). Check below for the teaser trailer.
Sims 3: Late Night
another expansion for the ever popular, all time best selling PC franchise The Sims craeted by Maxis. You can party the night away in various club scenes with your Sims.
The game is set to be released for the PC and we are not too sure about a date yet. For more information, check out the trailer below.
Alice: Madness Returns
Out of all the game information to come out of the event this is the one I am looking most forward to as being a big Alice in Wonderland fan as a kid. Not much is known about the game yet other then a few screens shots, a teaser trailer and that it’s coming out some time in 2011 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
EA Sports Active: NFL Training Camp
With this title EA is taking full advantage of its deal with NFL. This game will use the Wii’s motion interface to lead the players through NFL training camps. The game will sport 70 different drills that you can take to improve your strength and power.
