E3 2014 comes with super anticipated Mortal Kombat X‘s first look, demonstration of Killer Instinct’s TJ Combo Surfaces, Super Smash Bros. and many more exciting game preview along with press conferences from some of largest companies in the video game world. Here are the highlights of E3 2014.
Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014 kicked off in Los Angeles on Tuesday with bunch of exciting announcements of new game titles. Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft are expected to blast with brand new games. It’s been reported that Sony made $18.7 million by sellingĀ Playstation 4 while Nintendo sold 16.2 million consoles during the last financial year ending in March. On the other hand, Microsoft managed to raise only 16 percent to 11.6 million units from Xbox One. After all this statistic, now whole gaming world turn their eyes to E3 2014. Here are some of the top attractions of the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
1. First Gameplay Footage for Mortal Kombat X
Mortal Kombat X was officially confirmed this week with a CG debut trailer which was a bit cinematic and made their fans to be excited. It also rose many questions about the roster of playable characters and how will be the actual gameplay. During the press conference of E3, Sony published this gameplay footage which brings two new characters.
2. Far Cry 4 World Gameplay Premiere
The Far Cry series has got a playable woman lead which it never had. Developer company Ubisoft’s creative’s director Alex Amancio said about it “It’s double the animations, it’s double the voices, all that stuff and double the visual assets. Especially because we have customizable assassins. It was really a lot of extra production work. We target all the male animations onto the female character and just give her own unique walks, runs, anything that can give character.”
3. The Legend of Zelda for Wii U First Details
Nintendo of America Inc. features both familiar faces and bold new ideas. The Legend of Zelda for Wii U teaser showed off first glance appears to be Link being chased on his trusty steed Epona by a robotic, arachnid enemy.
4. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
The brand new Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris takes the cooperative elements of the spin-off series to the next level as its introducing four players cooperating for the first time. Although fundamentals have hardly been changed but visual graphics have got a next-gen boost.
5. Tom Clancy’s The Division
Ubisoft highlighted the open and varied nature of post-pandemic New York and its hostile inhabitants in Tom Clancy‘s The Division. The dynamic time of day shifting will take place at night which will affect the nature of the enemies.
