The untethered jailbreak for iOS 7 devices was released only recently and has already been installed by a huge number of iOS users. Complementing this, a new version of iFile, one of the most wildly popular apps on jailbroken iOS devices, has arrived in Cydia.
iFile is not exactly a pirated app. The reason why it is in Cydia and can be accessed only on jailbroken devices is simply that Apple wouldn’t allow it in the App Store. So the first thing you will need to do before trying to access iFile is to jailbreak your iOS 7 device.
That being done, you can then go to the Cydia store and download and install the new version, iFile 2. The reason why the app is very popular among users with jailbroken iOS device is simply because it is a comprehensive file manager that lets users have complete access to each and every file on their iOS devices.
In many ways, it is the iOS equivalent of Finder in Mac, offering advanced management and customization of the files. The new version has been specifically tweaked and visually revamped so that it goes well with the overall feel of iOS 7. It comes with a new icon, redesigned in-app buttons and a number of other changes.

- Fixed crash when used tried to enter a PayPal registration email address (only required for people who did not buy in Cydia Store).
- iFile could not be terminated on iOS 7 via the App Switcher. This could only be fixed by always exiting it when you background it. However, it will stay active for another 180 seconds after backgrounding. It does not quit if you play music in background.
