Mobilisafe has been around for quite some time, starting off as a company dedicated to offer mobile and data security. The company tends to describe its product as a mobile risk management solution. The good thing about Mobilisafe is that it does not lock out apps, rather it identifies and analyses specific threats so that they can be tackled.

The great thing about Mobilisafe is that it doesn’t have to be loaded on to the user’s device. Rather, mobilisafe is deployed in an organization on the main server so that all the devices connecting to the server are checked for any security vulnerabilities.

Through such a mechanism, Mobilisafe is able to provide a very detailed analysis about the devices, their types, the software that runs on them and any security vulnerabilities that may be there on them.

Through such information and its own analysis, Mobilisafe can then alert the IT department of the devices that are not secure and the security of which need to be enhanced. With the help of the prompts from Mobilisafe, the IT can then connect with the insecure devices and alert their owners through a number of ways.

Currently, Mobilisafe is offering a 30 day free trial of their mobile risk assessment, a service which is rarely offered for free. Companies can avail the free offer and see if it is good and then can decide to go for the full version.

The company has also recently brought together some very interesting facts in a research it has done. According to this research, nearly 71% of the devices that it included in a study has one or another security vulnerability and a new vulnerability was added to a device every 1.6 days.
