Asus Shows Touch-Enabled Zenbook Prime Ultrabook

Asus is showing a 11-inch UX21A touch-enabled Ultrabook at Computex in Taipei. The ultrabook is pre-installed with Windows 8 and fully explores the touch sensitive features of the operating system. Its touchscreen is exceptional but whole design is conventional. Asus mentioned that the ultrabook has not made to the production line yet. That means, consumers may have to wait couple of months more to get their hands on the device.

The Ultrabook has Intel Ivy Bridge processor, an amazing 11.6-inch 1080p IPS display, and thin aluminum construction. No more specification details have been released, even when and where it will be available, or whether its 13-inch version will be released. It seems that we have to wait more few months to know other details.

Windows 8 is very ugly and annoying OS and UI. I hope these ultrabooks should be those installed with Ubuntu, Linux Mint or Google Chrome OS.
