Samsung Sold 10M Galaxy S 3 In Just 2 Month

Recently J.K. Shin, president of Samsung‘s mobile devision has said that the company’s Galaxy S 3 smartphone has been sold more than 10 million in less than two months after its official release. Relatively, the company’s another flagship smartphone Galaxy S 2 took five months to reach the same milestone. It is a sign that Samsung is dominating the mobile phone market, basically the Android market. It is not only a success of Samsung but also indicating the popularity of Android OS.

According to Yonhapnews, at least 190,000 piece Samsung Galaxy S 3 has been sold every day which helps the company to achieve this milestone. Devindra Hardawar, from VentureBeat said that “first no-compromise device that will make iPhone users jealous.” The Samsung Galaxy S 3 features a Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU, Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS, a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED (1280×720) display, an 8-megapixel back side camera, and 1.9-megapixel front side camera. It weighs 4.7 ounces and measures 8.6 millimeters thin.
