An iPad app developer has come up with an app that is sure to delight all Star Trek fanboys out there: an app for a clever skin for a little collection of social networks that looks like the Star Trek PADD, appropriately named Captain’s Log. And as gimmicky as it is, it captures a whiff of what the iPad really is for a lot of people: Sci-Fi wish fulfillment.
