The old TH40/D involved Fujitsu pushing back the sliding tablet’s late-June release date. The device has been presented for the first time in May and exhibited at the fair in Taipei, Computex 2011. TH40 Fujitsu will market starting next July 22, 2011, just over a week. It’s mid-July now, and things have been mostly quiet surrounding the 10-inch tablet’s keyboard-packing goodness.
Fujitsu TH40 is a device with 10.1-inch form factor equipped with the Intel Atom Z670 1.5-GHz frequency. The touchscreen display supports multi-touch technology and with the operating system Microsoft Windows 7, which is the basis for launching any application software. The panel operates at a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels, standard for a display this size.
The Windows 7 device, which debuted back in May, is now scheduled for a July 22nd release in its native Japan, according to new reports. Once that date rolls around, ¥80,000 (around $1,010) should buy you all the games of “hide-a-keyboard” that your heart desires.
