Google Integrates Google Voice With Google+ To Give Users Better Interaction Experience

Google Voice is liked by most users because it allows call blocking, customization, and filtering tools. Now recently, Google+ Circles have been integrated with Google Voice in a new move by Google to try to integrate its various services according to The Next Web. To avail the service, go to the new “Groups & Circles” tab in Google Voice setting menu. You can select an option to send all calls directly to voicemail or you can have all calls screened from a certain group that allows you to listen to the call before answering it. Personalized ringtones and greetings could also be set for each group separately.

However, these settings could not be done from mobile apps as yet. Only through desktop interface can such changes and adjustments be made. Google will definitely introduce the similar kind of features for mobiles later perhaps. Since Google has been keen on making each and every user of its search engine to somehow join the new and now not-so-new social networking site to give it a better growth. Google+ attracted a lot of attention initially as users wanted to see what Google’s own social network has to offer.

But a lot of the users are using other social networks in which they are set and most often is the case that they don’t want to make a switch over. This is why Google has to almost force upon its users to join Google+ by different tactics, the latest of which is integrating Google Voice with Google+ Circles. On the one hand, it is a marketing gesture, but on the other, it is still a good service and a tool to be used for those who can avail it and know how to use it to their advantage. For those who have still not joined Google+ but are enjoying Google Voice will now have to join in, because that way your Google Voice contacts will be able to make the call.

Google has said that it wants to help users organize their contacts in a better way. For those who do use Google+ and have made it their primary social network, then this is the best integration that could happen for them having to use Google Voice too. As of now, the Google Hangout for this service has not been in the foreseen. But if it could also be included then this would be a complete integration.
