The reason simply that they are inhumane to dogs because the puppies which live in such puppy mills have sub-standard condition and environment.

There are no health standards maintain in such puppy mills. Hence, considering ASPCA’s (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) request of removing Facebook ads to sell dogs from these puppy mills, Oodle Classifieds complied, according to CNET.
Oodle Classifieds is actually the company that works on the marketing of other businesses and products on the social networking site. It has been reported that these dogs are caged in unsanitary, overcrowded places and they are treated with cruelty. They don’t receive veterinary care, food, water and do not get a chance of socializing with others of their kind. Hence, they are not fully and healthily grown dogs. These puppy mills actually sell directly to a buyer online through such ads and given contact details.
But it is like selling anything which is substandard even when you would go and buy it traditionally from a store or a market. The estimated figures suggest that tens of thousands of dogs from these unregulated breeders are sold each year over the internet. But in most case, buyers don’t even know when they are getting into because they tend to think a puppy must be healthy and happy.
As a result of this realization, hundreds of complaints are filed each year who say that they were misled and scammed. Hence, it is part of the cyber scam and a cybercrime, which should be checked it by the internet governing bodies too. The good thing to do for protecting yourself from such online pet selling scams is to go and get a puppy from a rescue shelter. Each year, around 3 to 4 million dogs and cats are euthanized in the U.S. alone because they do not have a caring home.
