Google Maps is one of the most widely used mapping service applications people use. This map offers satellite imagery, street maps, and Street View perspectives, as well as functions such as a route planner for traveling by foot, car or with public transportation. Often people take help of Google Maps to go from one place to another. But do you know that Google Maps can keep each record of people’s movement?
When a person uses Google Maps on his/her phone, Google keeps a track record wherever the phone goes and puts red dots on the map. But the person may be totally unaware of it.
But there’s a catch. Google can keep record of a person’s movements on Google Maps if he/she has switched on ‘location reporting’ and ‘location services‘ in his/her phone. Still have a doubt? OK, let’s check out now.
Click here to find the Google Map. Now log in with the same account you use on your phone. And then you will see the record of your movements erupting across the screen like chicken pox.
If you don’t find any track record that means either you don’t exist or you’ve beaten the system. If you don’t want to be tracked on Google Maps, you can turn off these settings any time you want.
